Huon Art Gallery
I worked with Huon Art Gallery in Cygnet, Tasmania to produce a new website that met their needs for sophisticated branding, profiling their artists and ease of ongoing use. The project included client portrait and interiors photography, and advertising materials for local magazines and newspapers.
“Huon Art has always had a basic web page but not a proper web presence. However, all that changed yesterday when graphic designer, Meng Koach completed a photo shoot in the gallery to add to the new Huon Art website that he has just designed.
Meng who has worked on major publications for ACP moved from Sydney to Cygnet in July with his young family. When we met 2 weeks ago, I was lamenting the fact an art gallery website was difficult to maintain as art works change so frequently with new work quickly replacing works sold.
In the past I had approached several graphic designers and was told that we would have to pay a monthly fee to keep upgrading the site. Meng took a different approach and told me “Your weekly Instagram posts will automatically go straight to your website to upgrade it and you will also be able to change the text etc whenever you want.” We are delighted with the outcome and the professionalism shown by this young man who created our site in a short amount of time. We are now ready to take the gallery to the next level with advertising throughout Hobart and beyond.”
